Lyndon is an excellent geographer and biologist who makes fieldwork really come alive for the students lucky enough to be taught by him. I cannot recommend him highly enough

Lyndon Taylor has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the IB Biology curriculum including the Further Ecology option. He is able to provide students with an in-depth ecological study on any topic or in any area of Cyprus. He knows all the local plants and animals, and the history of the villages in Paphos. The students love him and with his sense of humor he keeps them thoroughly engaged.

Andreas Athanasiou

Over the past 16 years it has been my pleasure to have watched Lyndon work with large groups of year 5 & 6 primary school children. His cheerful sense of humour and excellent curriculum knowledge in his field, motivate the children to want to investigate and discover more through the well planned activities. Lyndon’s learning adventures are safe and yet still challenging, giving children the space and opportunity to further their learning in an independent way. Everyone, pupil or teacher, takes away a more than they came with and has also had a thoroughly interesting and fun time learning.

Karen Charalambous

Deputy Headteacher & KS2 Phase Leader, American Academy Junior School, Larnaca, Cyprus

I have had the pleasure of working with Lyndon Taylor for over 18 years with our Ecology trips to Cyprus. Lyndon is able to mix his extensive ecological knowledge and passion for the environment to create an amazing learning environment. With each of our trips, Lyndon would engage small, local entities such as Snake George, the Tombs of the Kings, the Mosaics of Paphos to add value and excitement to our journeys. The history, culture, and economy were intrinsic components to all of our lessons. This would also include nature walks to study the bat populations of the region. Lyndon has always been able to combine learning with his love of environmental science. Throughout our many years together, Lyndon always worked hard to keep up to date with the International Baccalaureate standards for Biology as well as Environmental Systems so that he could tailor our trips to match the IB requirements. He would capture the imaginations of the students better than most classroom teachers that I have worked with for the past thirty years. These are the reasons that our trips to Cyprus have become a school tradition that has lasted more than 20 years!

John Rose

High School Assistant Principal, Former Biology Coordinator, Ibn Khuldoon National School, Bahrain

Lyndon is a gifted teacher who quickly connects with students and who is able to easily transmit his passion for ecological field work. His qualifications, rich knowledge and experience allow him to use theory and ecological field or lab techniques to help students understand how ecosystems function. His job however as an educator doesn’t stop at the transmission of knowledge and information. With his pleasant demeanour and through his example he manages to instill in students a care and love for the natural environment. For us teachers, he is a pleasant and witty conversationalist that makes working with him a pleasure one looks forward to every year.

Using Lyndon to complete GCSE and A level field work for our Geography and Biology students was a very wise move. His knowledge, both academic and local is second to none and his affinity with our students made the whole weekend easy for the tutors and very enjoyable and unforgettable for the kids. A very handy guy to have around!

Zoe Nicolaou

I met Lyndon many years ago during an School Biology Field Trip for Advanced Level students. I was impressed with his professional yet approachable attitude to teaching. Students then and many who followed after have all commented on how Lyndon managed to make the subject of ecology interesting, current and, above all, one that makes sense without compromising on the detail. I would highly recommend Lyndon as an individual that can enthuse your students about ecology and its relevance to our current lives.
